    Isn’t it neat how the strangest things can bring on inspiration? And think of a streaky black/white bead — that would be a cool skunk bead!

    No scratch and sniff beads, though! 🙂

    I am always amazed at where inspiration comes from. I am in the process of making a series of black and white striped, swirled and mixed beads. This has proven to be a lot of fun.

    Actually, there used to be trade beads that the mountain men dealt with that were called “skunk beads”. They were black with white spots. Kind of like the spotted skunks.
